What is EFI Coach Training?
You will enjoy the challenge of completing Part 2 of this practical 64-hour program, which will earn you a coaching certificate and the confidence and competence to take your next steps. EFI Coach Training and Certification is on Zoom and is full of class participation, real life lab time, partner exercises, and group work. The preparation you do before class prepares you for a deeply satisfying discussion where coaching skills meet real life! *Students must have successfully completed EFI Coaching Mindset or another ICF equivalent.
This class is limited to 14 students to protect the small group culture and is taught by Abigail Doust, an ACC (Associate Certified Coach with the ICF). The class is made up of professionals integrating these skills into their current field as well as those who might want to leverage the designation of coach. By the end of the EFI Coach Training & Certification, you will be a Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC) and equipped to serve people in a unique and powerful way.

The EFI program provides you with 60 hours of work (36 hours live, synchronous learning) so you can pursue International Coach Federation (ICF) credentials. The gold standard of excellence!

What Does EFI Coach Training Look Like?
Join us for 8 sessions of fun, thought-provoking class, and prepare for robust conversation with specific assignments that both grow your knowledge and guide in practicing what you are learning. Estimate 2-4 hours of reading, watching videos, preparing, partner work, applying what you are learning, etc. in addition to attending class.
The “Work” in Developing Your Coaching Skills
Read assigned books, articles, and papers
Watch short videos
Take assessments for further learning
Write short answers about the reading
Be coached by a professional coach
Participate in partner/trio coaching lab with classmates (& record the sessions, write a short evaluation of each session)
Write a blog, record a video, or record a podcast episode for your niche audience
Complete two recorded coaching sessions (with people outside of class) and review for feedback and final certification
Must have taken the prerequisite of EFI: Coaching Mindset (32 CEU hours) and this course (32 hours) for a total of 64 hours completed course work (36 of those as live, synchronous hours) for certification.

Founder & Trainer
Abigail is an author, speaker, coach, and trainer who is passionate about helping leaders get equipped to make a significant impact. She is a Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC) and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is also a Certified Human Behavior & DISC Consultant and skilled in helping people make changes and cultivate healthy relationships. She loves serving others.
Abigail has a Bachelor of Communications Education and Masters in Theatre in Directing. An educator at heart, her background includes coaching individuals and couples, running theatre programs, directing productions, training teams of orgs and businesses, coaching, teaching at the college level and, of course training people just like you in the art of life coaching. She is a gifted educator and natural encourager, and excels at helping her students apply coaching concepts with practical feedback that is personal and genuine.

This course will be offered as there are graduates from EFI: Coaching Mindset who want to take this second half for coach certification. Our next course is intended to be in 2025, if there are 6 or more students who are interested. This course meets on Zoom, time and day to be determined.
How much does it cost?
Your tuition for EFI Coach Training / Certification includes meaningful and interactive class times and also professional coaching, resources and materials, one-on-one feedback about your live and recorded calls, next steps coaching, and much more! The 32-hour program is only $1,800. You will need to acquire your own textbooks (new or used, digital or on paper, etc. ).
